Indexes the Austin American-Statesman for the last 12 years.

Ethnic
NewsWatch
Ethnic NewsWatch is a full text collection of 200 newspapers,
magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native
press. Complete articles dating back to 1995 are available.
More than 7,500 new articles are added each month. The
database is searchable in both English and Spanish, with
titles in both languages. Ethnic NewsWatch provides in-depth
coverage of a wide range of current and historical topics.
Infotrac
Custom Newspapers
A web-based collection of local, regional, and national
full text newspapers, including the Austin American-Statesman,
Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, New York
Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science
Monitor, etc. Backfiles go as far back as 1996 for most

Newspaper
Abstracts
Indexes and abstracts more than 30 United States and regional
newspapers, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times,
Washington Post, and USA Today. The Wall Street Journal
(Eastern Edition) is indexed beginning January 1, 1990.
World
News Connection
An online news service with an extensive array of translated
and English-language news and information. Coverage of
local media sources and current events in a specific country
or region. Compiled from thousands of non-US media sources.
Covers significant socioeconomic, political, scientific,
technical, and environmental issues and events. Includes "gray" literature.
The information is obtained from full-text and summaries
of newspaper articles, conference proceedings, television
and radio broadcasts, periodicals, and non-classified technical
reports. Updated every government business day. Generally,
new information is available within 48-72 hours from the
time of original publication or broadcast. For Southwestern community
only. Note to Mac OSX users: current version of Internet
Explorer will not work with this site; use Netscape.

Maintained by St. Ambrose University, this site provides
a list of good news-related sources.
CNN.com
Constantly updated news from the round-the-clock news service.
An audio link allows CNN television news to be heard
live.

Europe Online
Extensive general information magazine on central Europe,
covering the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Hungary,
and Slovenia. It offers daily news, articles from the local
press, detailed travel and cultural accounts, basic information
about each of the countries covered, political background,
and a business and economics section.

Part of Refdesk.com, this is a one-stop site for all things
Internet: online United States and world newspapers, weather,
