both on the Web and in the Smith Library Center print
collection, that are particularly useful for the

Search Complete
A multi-disciplinary, full text database designed
specifically for academic institutions that includes
full text for over 2,940 scholarly publications abstracts
and indexing for nearly 3,930 scholarly journals
with many dating back to 1984. Full-page images,

Science & Technology Abstracts
Index to applied science and technology literature.
Covers 350+ key, international English-language periodicals
in the applied sciences and technology. It abstracts
interviews, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, discussions,
corrections, continued articles, new product reviews,
new product announcements, technically valuable editorials
and letters, tables, charts, diagrams, buyers' guides,
directories, and conference proceedings; it also
cites book reviews. Subjects included are chemistry,
engineering, computer technology, mathematics, data
processing, physics, and energy-related disciplines.

IDEAL: International Digital Electronic
Access Library now ScienceDirect
Features 200 scientific, technical, and medical full-text
journals from Academic Press. The articles are displayed
in Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format), and the
tables of contents and abstracts in HTML. The system
includes a robust search engine for searching by
various fields. IDEAL contains over 80,000 articles

A unique database that contains the complete full-image
backfiles of a core group of scholarly journals.
Titles include American Mathematical Monthly (1894-1993),

A searchable web database providing access to over
58 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical
Publications (from 1940 to the present). Full-text
reviews of articles and books that contain new
contributions to mathematical research are provided.

Hosted by Scientific Instruments Services, Inc.,
this is a great site for information on mathematics
for both students and educators. Includes a BBS,
a chat room, and a large number of links, in addition
to many
mathematical tables.

Forum
Math Forum, an online community funded in part by
the National Science Foundation and hosted by Swarthmore
College, has been built with the contributions of
math educators, interested volunteers, and online
programming groups, including the Perl and Apache
communities.

Webopaedia
An online encyclopedia and search engine dedicated
to computer technology. The definitions provided
here include links to other sites of interest related
to the search term.
