In interdisciplinary fields such as
Kinesiology, resources in many different
subject areas will be useful. To find
printed reference material relevant
to your topic start with the library's online
catalog. Do a Reference Materials search using keywords
to describe your topic. You can also check the library's
Web pages for subject guides for specific topics to find

suggested sources.

Mystart! Online
The American Heart Association fitness web site includes:
a virtual personal trainer, cyber teams, and an exercise diary.
The National Athletic Trainers'
Association
Contains information about the Association and also includes
a directory of NATA accredited programs and a section on injury
information.
NLM National
Library of Medicine
Provides access to NLM's health information, library services,
and reseach programs. One research program, The
Visible Human Project, is creating a database of anatomically
detailed, three-dimensional representations of the male and
female human body.
SPORTQuest
- a free directory of sport and fitness related websites and
full text articles on topics such as: sports medicine, physical
education and coaching, provided by SIRC, a website that includes
fee-based databases.
sports.reference.com
Launched in 2000, this site covers major American sports.
It purports to be "the easiest-to-use, fastest, and most complete
sports statistics anywhere."
