Volume 1, Number 1 (November 1882), Alamo and San Jacinto Society Monthly.  The two men's literary and debate socities published the magazine, under this title and later as Southwestern University Monthly, until the 1890s when publication of the men's and women's magazines merged.

Southwestern.

statement "I received no assistance."
