Netscape 7.1 is the latest version of the venerable web browser. You can download the browser at this link. (OS 9 users, use this link to download Netscape 7.02.)
Once the file downloads, you can double-click the icon to have Stuffit Expander decompress it. Expander will also open the resulting Netscape-MachO.dmg disk image which will prompt you to agree to the license agreement. Click the Agree button, let the disk image mount, then drag the Netscape application’s icon out of the disk image to your hard drive. It is recommended that you place the application in the Applications folder.
*Note: Your web browser will most likely download the file, decompress it and open the resulting disk image for you, leaving the only step the one where you drag the application to your hard drive.
Once the application is installed, make sure you replace any older copies of Netscape with this one, or that you delete any older copies.
Double-click the Netscape icon to launch the new program.
More information about Netscape 7.1 can be found here in the release notes or here at the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
