How to Listen to Podcasts

There are two ways of hearing the ITS Podcast recordings:

  • The podcast subscription link: Podcasting makes audio recordings, we use MP3s, available for automatic download through an automatic RSS feed that gets read by “podcatcher” software. Subscribing to a podcast will automatically download the latest recording to your computer or portable music player as it becomes available online.
  • Downloading the actual recording: The ITS Podcasts are available as downloadable MP3 files. These can be played on a computer or loaded onto a portable MP3 player for “on-the-go” listening.

How to Subscribe

The “subscription link” on the main ITS Podcast page is formatted with a “pcast://” prefix. This prefix tells your browser to launch the link in your preferred podcast software. Some free podcast software for Mac OS X and Windows include:
