How to Send Mail from a Mail Application/Program When Off Campus

Sending mail from your Southwestern email address from your mail application/program, such as Thunderbird, Mail, Outlook, requires a different outgoing server setting. This is a normal configuration so that others, such as spammers, do not use Southwestern e-mail system to send spam or other harmful email.
