Do I need to buy an anti-virus and anti-spyware program for the computer I am buying?

Southwestern has a site license for Sophos anti-virus software which all faculty and students can use free of charge while at Southwestern. There is no need to purchase Norton or any other anti-virus software.

Note that the pre-configured Dell systems available through our web site have Sophos anti-virus pre-installed as well as Microsoft Office. Visit this page for more information.
