Southwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Softball Coach with a second administrative or coaching duty as assigned by the Athletic Director. This is an entry-level position with coaching responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the administration of daily softball operations, recruiting, team training, home event management, practice organization, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. This is a 9-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits, and also may include the option of room and board under the University’s Resident Associate program.
A bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. The successful candidate is expected to comply with departmental guidelines set forth by Southwestern University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NCAA Division III. Softball experience as an athlete and/or coach at the intercollegiate level is necessary.
