Resources & Facilities

The Theatre department is housed in the Sarofim School of Fine Arts Building. Students have the opportunity to work and perform in three main facilities. This includes the Alma Thomas Theater, a 750 seat proscenium theater, Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater, a 325 seat thrust theater, and the Heather Jean McGaughey Black Box, a 50 seat performance and classroom space. Students also have access to technical facilities, including the costume shop, scene shop, and computer design studio- located throughout the Sarofim Fine Arts building.
