Frank Young Frank Young received his B.A. in mathematics from Haverford College and his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught mathematics and computer science at Knox College in Illinois for 19 years. In 1987 he became Head of the Department of Computer Science at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, retiring after 15 years in that position. Frank Young served as SIGCSE registrar for over 10 years, chaired the SIGCSE Symposium, has served as ABET evaluator and commissioner. In 2015 Frank Young received the SIGCSE award for Lifetime Service to the Computing Education Community.
