Voice

Oliver Worthington teaches applied voice, and is also involved in the production of many of the musicals in the Theatre Department at Southwestern University. Dr. Worthington has performed with many organizations in Texas, including the Austin Lyric Opera, Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Civic Chorus, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Austin, the Victoria Bach Festival, the Lyric Opera of San Antonio, the San Antonio Symphony, the Mid-Texas Symphony Orchestra, the South Texas Opera and Unity Theater of Brenham. Nationally he has appeared at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, Ohio Light Opera, Aspen Opera Theater, Lowell Opera, Lyric Opera Cleveland and the Brevard Music Center. He is equally at home on the opera, oratorio or broadway stage and encourages similar diversity in his students.
