Anna Carney, clarinet instructor, also teaches at Texas A&M University, and has been a member of numerous orchestras in North and Central America. She has an active solo and chamber music career in the United States and abroad and often commissions new works. Ms. Carney has performed and presented at such prestigious conferences as the International ClarinetFest, SEAMUS National Conference, and the College Music Society National Conference in Quebec, among others. She is an active freelance musician in Central Texas as well as a clinician nationwide. She started her music career as a public school music teacher the first seven years of her professional life. Her major clarinet teachers have been Kalman Bloch, James Kanter & Dr. Frank Kowalsky.
