Library - The library has reference and search services tailored to the exploration of environmental studies. Library’s Guide for resources for Environmental Studies
GIS Lab - SU’s GIS Lab provides comprehensive resources for learning and research in geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing (RS), spatial statistics, computer cartography, and environmental analysis.
SEAK Environmental listserv - Subscribing to the SEAK listserv allows you to receive club and environmental program messages. Click here to Subscribe
Career Services - Career services regularly receives job announcements in environmental fields as well as a number of newsletters focusing on environmental jobs and careers.
Ecological Audit - The state of Southwestern’s environment is being monitored, and information regarding this is available on the audit page within this site.
Internships: Southwestern’s internship program includes environmentally oriented placements. In the past, Southwestern students have interned with Ecology Action in Austin and with the Environmental Defense Fund in Austin.
There are also potential internship possibilities with a variety of government offices and other organizations in the Central Texas area, possibly including the immediate Georgetown-Round Rock area. Please contact Dr. Melissa Johnson if you are interested in this possibility.
