Study Abroad
Students at Southwestern University are given numerous opportunities for studying abroad, through a robust network of relationships between Southwestern and other university and national overseas programs and organizations. Most students choose to study for six weeks, often during the summer, but there are many other possibilities as well.
Campus Language Activities
The Chinese Language program sponsors a number of activities for students interested in Chinese language and culture. The Chinese Language Table is a weekly event held in the Commons. Other activities include lectures, calligraphy demonstrations and exhibits, films, Language Corner and other events.
Pan-Asian Association
The Pan-Asian Association is run by students with a strong interest in Asian culture and affairs, and holds regular meetings and activities. For an example of some past activities, take a look at their Facebook page.
