on the right foot: Drop in to Career Services for free pizza, meet the staff and check out our facilities and resources. Wednesday Wisdom Evening drop-in hours to tackle all your internship-related questions. Special topics each time will be announced via email. Caffeine and Careers Don't want to trek to McCook-Crain? Then Career
Services will come to you! Bring your questions, have your resume critiqued and learn about job searching, internships, etc. Free drinks!

Prizes galore! Get ready to make the leap to the world of work. Network with employers, hear what they look for when hiring and get advice about writing your resume. Learn about using NACElink, the web-based
resume referral service, for on-campus interviews and get the scoop on upcoming programs. Resumania Think your resume has what it takes to get you an interview? Make sure! Schedule a resume critique with an employer who regularly screens
resumes to hire candidates. Don’t even have a resume? Not to worry - Career Services will type and format your resume for you. Limited to first 25 to return resume worksheet and schedule a critique
time. Mock Interviews Practice your interviewing skills during this video-taped
mock interview and get helpful feedback from a career advisor during a short critique.

brings internship contacts directly to you! Come speak with recruiters from a wide variety of corporations and non-profit agencies about their internship programs.
Professional Practice Interview Day (PPID)
Practice your interviewing skills with real employers or medical school recruiters during this video-recorded mock interview and get helpful feedback during a short critique. Appointments last 40 minutes total.

presentation about applying to professional schools, including the overall application process and the latest on entrance exams.
Applying to Health Professional Programs Get
tailored information about applying to graduate programs in health-related professions, including optometry, dentistry, podiatry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and physical / occupational therapy. Getting into Graduate School Hear about why/why not to go to grad school, how to
select a school, when to apply, preparing for entrance exams and getting recommendation letters from panelists such as SU faculty, test preparation companies and graduate admission counselors. Experience Externships Don't have a lot of time to test out careers? Get
an in-person view of a select organization/company in just one day! Tour facilities, meet new hires and get advice for jobs and internships. Hosting organizations vary per semester.
Etiquette Dinner Enjoy a four-course meal while learning the ins and outs of business dining and social mingling etiquette from Diane Gottsman, The Protocol School of

Making a Living...Making a Difference
Interested in social justice and non-profit organizations? Representatives from organizations such as Americorps, the Peace Corps, Texas Alliance for Human Needs and Goodwill Industries answer your questions and
describe their organizations. (Participating organizations vary each year.)
Careers in...Accounting Accounting firms from across the state answer your questions, describe a day in
the life of an accountant and help you get started planning your accounting career.

technology, science and more. Southwestern Stars Internship Dinner Listen to current SU students about their
internship experience. Student speakers will provide valuable information on various aspects of the internship process. Business attire is required. Extreme Makeover: You Edition
