What? The primary mission of Southwestern
University Career Services is to assist students, throughout their tenure at the university and beyond, in developing, assessing, and implementing life-long career planning skills that support contributions toward the
well-being of society. We teach career-management skills (e.g. resume writing, interviewing, job search strategies), provide opportunities to explore a variety of occupations and help students and alumni make
connections to employers, graduate and professional schools and other resources. Students and alumni can access these services through visits to our office and by attending our programs. Who? Five professional staff, as well as student staff, serve Southwestern students and alumni throughout the year. Click here to meet the staff. Where?
Career Services is located in the McCook-Crain Building (#7 on campus map) at the corner of Southwestern
Boulevard and University Avenue/Highway 29, next to the Kyle E. White Religious Activities Center When?
Career Services is open throughout the year (except university holidays) Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. During the academic year, services are available from 5:00p.m.-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays
