Engaging Minds, Transforming Lives

From the National Weather Service for Williamson County, TX

A winter storm warning remains in effect from Midnight tonight (3/4/15) to Noon tomorrow (3/5/15). Arctic air will pour into the area after 6:00 p.m. with freezing rain and sleet causing icing of 1/10 inch or higher. This will make for icy roads and hazardous driving conditions that may pose a threat to life and property.

As of 10:30 p.m., March 4, Southwestern will have a delayed start and open at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, due to a combination of freezing precipitation and sub-freezing temperatures tonight through tomorrow morning. Key personnel will be making a final determination about a possible closure by tomorrow morning around 5:00 a.m. In any case, we want you to be safe, so please take every precaution to do so. Call 1.800.252.3166 to reschedule appointments for a later date. For the latest updates, check back here or monitor local news and weather for information.
