Southwestern University will hold its thirteenth annual Student Works Symposium—From Every Voice the evening of Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 5:00 pm in the Red and Charline McCombs Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Slide1The Student Works Symposium has been a venue where students showcase their research and creative works.  The Symposium has developed into one of Southwestern’s important academic events for students to display various interests, expertise, and in- and out-of-classroom experiences.  The diversity of presentations provide an opportunity for everyone to engage in conversations and to see the world from a multi-faceted view.  The Symposium features oral presentations, poster presentations, exhibitions, panels, and performances.  Last years symposium showcased 114 presentations featuring the works of 130 students from 25 disciplines.  

Your attendance is greatly appreciated. The annual symposium is part of Southwestern’s ongoing efforts to provide a forum for scholarly interchange. 

Abstract submissions will be accepted January 27 - March 5, 2012.
