On the Road or "On the Road Again?"
Jack Kerouac or Willie Nelson?
After a year of grappling with huge, what-am-I-doing-with-the-rest-of-my-life questions, choosing your First-Year Seminar at Southwestern University is one decision that will actually be fun!
The transition to college is exciting and challenging. Southwestern’s First-Year Seminar program helps you get up-to-speed academically and socially, giving you an opportunity to interact with faculty and other first-year students before your other classes even begin. At Southwestern, there are two types of First-Year Seminars to choose from, depending on the sort of experience you’re looking for: those that have been designated Living-Learning Communities and those that have not.
You'll get to select your top choices, so if you're deciding between Kerouac (Roadside America) or Nelson (Our Music, Their Music), you won't need to resort to rock-paper-scissors.
We look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
Sincerely,
Julie Cowley
