Students are invited and encouraged to present some aspect of their research in a contributed paper, poster, or creative work. Southwestern University hopes that you will be able to attend the Undergraduate Research and Creative Works Symposium of 2003, in order to participate in an exchange of formal and informal information and ideas with colleagues.
Contributed papers (oral/podium presentations) will be 12 minutes in length with 3 minutes for questions.
Contributed posters will fit onto bulletin boards that are 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide.
Creative works (i.e. displayed artwork) will be displayed as appropriate.
Electronic Submission: Submission of abstracts, titles, and other relevant information should be carried out on-line using the " Electronic Abstract Submission Form ". Copies of the titles and abstracts will be sent electronically to the sender and the program chair of the symposium. The deadline for receiving abstracts and titles is February 24, 2003.
Hardcopy submission of abstracts and titles is highly discouraged, but acceptable. Please use the electronic submission process! If this is impossible, you may contact the program chair no later than February 19, 2003 to obtain hardcopy forms.
For reference, the Final Program from last year's 2001 Symposium is available.
