George Oldziey is currently a much sought after freelance jazz pianist and accompanist in the Austin metropolitan area. He has also served as an orchestrator, score producer. conductor and contributing composer for several major motion pictures. His most recent credits include Spy Kids 2, Spy Kids 3, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and Kill Bill Volume 2. George has also composed music for many video and computer games, including the Wing Commander and Ultima series, as well as Spongebob Squarepants. Besides his performance, teaching and film work, George also has a recording studio at his home where he records and produces CD's for many local artists. While at Manhattan School of Music he was the recipient of several awards, including the Kraueter Foundation Award for excellence in chamber music, and one of 12 national recipients of a Yamaha Foundation performance award.
