Transitions Abroad and Abroad View Magazines
Announce Current Article and Photo Opportunities
Abroad View reminds students and faculty that it accepts articles and photos
for review on an ongoing basis. Writer's guidelines are available at www.AbroadViewMagazine.com.
Transitions Abroad magazine invites current undergraduate and graduate students,
students who have graduated within the past year, and students currently
on leave from school to enter the magazine's annual Student Writers Contest.
The best student-written article on education abroad will win a cash prize
of $150. The deadline is January 10, 2004.
For more information, visit: www.transitionsabroad.com/information/writers/student.shtml
Transitions Abroad reminds study abroad advisers and students that it seeks
submissions for its Education Abroad section. The Education Abroad section,
which runs in every issue, deals specifically with international education
for enrolled students. For this section the editors seek the most reliable
and useful information and advice on educational opportunities abroad in
articles of 1,000-2,000 words. See the general Writer's Guidelines at www.TransitionsAbroad.com
under "Write for Us" for deadlines and payment rates. Busy international
educators are encouraged to email rough drafts, outlines, or ideas to editor@transitionsabroad.com.
The editors will help you turn your information into a polished piece. We
seek articles for Work Abroad Adviser, International Career Adviser, Study
Abroad Adviser, Student to Student, Third World Focus, High School Exchanges,
Point: Counterpoint, and Student Program News & Notes.
