Requirements for the Minor in Greek

Mycenae, "Treasury of Atreus"


The Greek minor requires a minimum of 18 semester hours, of which at least 12 hours must be upper level (courses numbered above 200). The upper level program can be tailored to meet individual student needs.

13-024 Greek II
13-113 Greek III
13-123 Greek IV
13-101, 102, 103 Selected Topics
13-301, 302, 303 Selected Topics
13-443 Intermediate Tutorial
13-903 Advanced Tutorial
13-951, 952, 953 Independent Study

In addition to Greek courses, Greek minors are strongly urged to take interdisciplinary courses on ancient civilization, philosophy, literature, mythology, and art and archaeology.
