Based on a recommendation that arose from the final session of the visit of the team of National Advisors (a session that included several members of the Strategic Plan committee), President Schrum wrote a revised draft of the 2010 plan.

President Schrum began this process after receiving all the final reports from the National Advisors who visited campus in September. These reports are now available for viewing. In addition to the reports from the National Advisors, President Schrum focused on the information in the current 2010 Strategic Plan, the list of priorities submitted by the faculty caucus, and recommendations from other faculty, staff, and student groups as he developed the draft plan.

The completed draft was submitted to the Strategic Planning Committee, which approved the document on March 15th, 2001. It was approved by faculty on March 20, 2001.
